Gala raises $60k for Clover Area Assistance Center

— Clover Area Assistance Center held its 11th annual Gala on April 24 at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden.

The theme was “Hooray for Hollywood,” featuring a red carpet entrance and a walk of fame, recognizing donors who paid $350 to $1,000 for tickets to the event. Individual tickets cost $100.

This is the major fundraiser for CAAC, and included silent and live auctions, dinner and entertainment performed by the Clover High School Choraliers.

As in years past, the event was a sell-out with a waiting list. The Gala raised almost $60,000 for the agency.

CAAC is the largest food pantry in western York County, and also provides education, financial assistance, and medical and dental care for those in need who live within the Clover School District.
