Mulvaney to host Rock Hill town hall

U.S. House Rep. Mick Mulvaney, R-Indian Land, will host a town hall meeting in Rock Hill on Wednesday night, soliciting questions from the audience on a variety of national and local issues.

Mulvaney represents the Fifth Congressional District, which includes York, Chester and Lancaster counties. The town hall, at the Baxter Hood Center at York Technical College, begins at 6 p.m.. It is one of several Mulvaney conducts throughout the year in the district.

An incumbent since 2011, Mulvaney will face Democrat Tom Adams of Fort Mill in the November election.

Previous town halls included presentations on the Affordable Care Act, the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi and education reform.
