A Lincoln County woman already on probation for a January 2013 drug conviction was arrested Friday and charged with trafficking painkillers, authorities said Saturday.

Sabrina Darlene Whitworth, 32, of Lincolnton, was arrested after deputies and probation officers reported finding 11 grams of hydrocodone and Opana, an opiate-based drug, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said.

Agents also said they found drug paraphernalia in her residence.

She was charged with two felonies – trafficking in opium or heroin and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.

Sheriff’s deputies said Friday’s search took place without a search warrant, which is permitted in the case of offenders on probation, parole or other forms of supervised release. Whitworth was jailed under $55,000 bond, authorities said.
