Clover School District leaders are hearing criticism following a decision to purchase 172 acres of Lake Wylie land with eyes set on a future high school.

Just like any other industry, colleges and universities must consider ways to stay relevant and current with their offerings in order to compete for students. Many traditional liberal arts colleges are adding career-specific degree programs, such as nursing, engineering, architecture, graphic arts, gaming programming and interior design in order to keep their enrollment strong.
