July 4 event set for Saturday

LAKE WYLIE -- Good Samaritan United Methodist Church, 5220 Crowders Creek Lane, will hold a July Fourth celebration starting at 6 p.m. Saturday with karaoke. Everyone is invited.

Register for Bible study group

LAKE WYLIE -- Clover Bible Study is registering for the fall study in the Clover/Lake Wylie area to begin meeting on Wednesdays Aug. 27 at River Hills Community Church.

CBS is an interdenominational Bible study group open to all women, of all faiths and of all knowledge levels. This year's study will be the Gospel of Mark and Ephesians.

50s and older group to meet

BOWLING GREEN -- A 50s Plus community group meets the first Wednesday of the month for fellowship, a covered-dish lunch and a program at Bowling Green Presbyterian Church, 250 Ridge Road, Bowling Green. Call (803) 222-3598.
