Lauren McGill was recognized as the third high scorer in the event. The team was coached by Carrie C. Bolin, Agricultural Education instructor and FFA advisor at Clover High School.
Students in Stephanie L. Russell's class at Griggs Road Elementary in Clover participated Feb. 23 in the Area 11 Special Olympics Bowling Invitational tournament at Strikers Fun Center in Rock Hill. Bowlers were Christopher Brown, icky Wise, Taylor Dann and Teya Bruce, Victoria Haught and Maddie Thomas.

Griggs Road Elementary School recently participated in Jump Rope for Heart for The American Heart Association. Students raised $6,348.
There will be games, a bounce house, a petting zoo, silent auction, bake sale, contests, vendors, music and performances.
